Run for Arts 2013

Every year Henry's school has a Race for the Arts. It raises money for arts in the school. The kids get sponsors for each leg of the race. This year Henry reached a personal PR...big doings... we are thinking it was his special cheering section of the women in the Reuland household. He was adorable at the end...he ran over and hugged Maggie & Frances.

My amazing eight year old

Henry turned eight and Mark and I are still in a bit of shock. When and how did that happen? We could not feel more blessed. He is a kind, thoughtful, compassionate, passionate, funny, smart, engaging, and incredible kid. We feel like we hit the jackpot. He has done nothing but make our lives better since he came into this world.

He had  wonderful birthday. This year instead of party (insert Mom cheering) he picked a group of his friends to go on a sporting extravaganza. We went to the driving range and then played basketball, followed by soccer, followed by football at home.....and then more sports. He was in HEAVEN. I loved every part of it....minus the excessive farting, burping, and discussions about poop in the car. Dear lord...this is boy....

Oscar is One!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet Oscar turned one! My kids were VERY excited about his big day and just happened to have school off, so we all went to music class! He such a wonderful, sweet and fun little boy. So happy he is in our lives.

Easter 2013

I have to say, this year's Easter was pretty awesome. It was INCREDIBLE weather and the kids were in a joyous mood. One of my favorite parts was how excited Frances and Maggie were to wear their dresses with a flower (yes, Frances...a dress) and their new matching shoes (which Francie picked...and they had flowers!). Frances and Maggie's friendship blossomed quite a bit while Henry was in Kentucky for March Madness. It is ADORABLE. They play dolls together and play make believe and Frances is now the first thing that Maggie calls for when she wakes up. Heart Melter.

We had a WONDERFUL brunch at Waverly with my parents and the kids got to go to Jeld Wen field for a an Easter Egg "hunt". Not much a hunt, as they were just spread on the field....more of a gather.
