A future fireman's dream

Mark's Uncle is a Firefighter. Frances wants to be firefighter. So, you can imagine the PURE EXCITEMENT in her eyes when we told her that Uncle Tom was a real life firefighter. Tom was kind enough to plan a day the firehouse, INCLUDING a ride in a fire truck. I was so busy focusing on the PERMANENT ear to ear grin on Frances's face that I almost missed the gitty excitement in Mark and Henry. When we were leaving Tom gave her a shirt and blanket and a hat. She carried all three for the next week, including at the airport. No, we didn't make a scene at ALL.
