Working in Places I love
I have been working on proposals that would have us in Central Oregon a lot in the next two years. I love this because I love the work, I love the opportunity to impact the health of children in the region, and I LOVE Central Oregon. These are pics from my late night run before sunset and early am run. BLISS. BLISS. BLISS. One of my favorite things about running a statewide organization to improve care for children in Oregon is you get to see so many parts of Oregon...and my is my state glorious. I love that I can play a role to improve health and outcomes for children in Oregon.
Ski date with my girl
Frances had a rare sunday without a soccer game, the snow was still amazing, and I needed an alone date with my girl. We had the best ski day together in amazing bluebird weather. The. Best.
Spring Soccer = Spring Running
With Frances's team back outside, I have the chance to run out by the fields near her practice facility. And this is what I got witness. Are you kidding me? So amazing. Oregon...I love you.
An Actress is Unveiled
Maggie took a drama class and was cast as a mouse, Nibbles, in the play. I took horrible pictures and was in the wrong place, but she did AMAZING. Her joy on the stage was contagious. So proud of her.
LLAMA Lovers
SO......I am obsessed with llamas....everyone at work knows it. My coworker told me that Llamas were going to be in Multnomah Village and well.....I HAD to go....... So. Worth. It.
Crack Up on Aisle Seven
We had to get passport pictures for Europe....which involved us in a drug store for 15 minutes. I have to say, my kids have reached the stage where I think they are hilarious and they are the kind of the people that I just want to hang out with because they make me laugh.
Sledding Day
We had a day off of school and I had so much work I was going to just have a stay at home day......and then it keeps hitting me that my kids are getting older and our time as a family is getting shortened before they go to college......so I went worked until very late and then met up with Brookie for sledding in Hood River, lunch with my girls, and a hike on Beakon Rock. SO WORTH the sleep deprivation. Oregon....I so do love you.
Soccer in Arizona - 2019
Frances had a soccer tournament in Arizona. This time we go to go with the whole team, my parents, Gordon and Katie. While colder than we all would have liked, it was still so much fun to get time together. I am so proud of Frances's team. They played UP an age group, in the premier division, and gave up only two goals and made it to the consolation game in PKs. Amazing.
